Tabletop modular power supply for electrical measurements and machines

The modular structure of this set of tabletop power supplies satisfies the needs of a modern laboratory for electrical measurements and measurements on electrical machines. It consists in a base unit with general protections and the emergency halting device, which can be expanded with a unit providing fixed AC and DC single-phase/three-phase voltages, a unit providing variable AC and DC single- phase/three-phase voltages, a unit providing extra low variable AC and DC single-phase voltage, and can be expanded with units upon specific request (fixed and/or variable stabilized DC voltages etc.). The system can be used to structure new laboratories (compatible with the “POWER” series), as well as matching existing ones without sufficient structures and/or which must fit the safety regulations (to set up a safe work place). All installed protection devices are automatic. No fuse has been employed which can be easily removed by the students. The base unit alone constitutes a system providing the power supply and can include (optionally) the three-phase insulation transformer to electrically separate the whole workstation. Different layouts are possible by overlaying the single power supplies.
